Thanitose

This has been a long time coming, I have been working with a friend on this illustration of his character "Thanitose", a brilliant valiant knight, but corrupted from within by a seething power.
We extensively worked together on figuring out the design through a lot of world-building about the character himself, writing, and sketching.
The biggest challenge I found was to be the pose, the armor being so extravagant, it was more difficult than anticipated to put together.
